Martin van Hees (guitar)
Remgewogen is a piece for classical guitar solo, written for Martin van Hees. The title is the result of an autocorrection in a message written on a mobile phone. The word cannot be found in the dictionary and probably does not (yet) exist in practice.
With this piece I tried to discover some personal ways to write for the guitar as a solo instrument. For non-guitarists the guitar is often not the easiest instrument to write for, idiomatically speaking, so I borrowed one from Martin and tried to find my way on it. The technique of tapping on the fretboard is frequently used in the piece - probably because the piano is my main instrument.
